- · +3 years experience in designing, developing and maintaining search capabilities for a high traffic website over a high volume of content + working experience in search engine development (particularly with Lucene/Solr/ElasticSearch)
- · +3 years experience in developing and deploying large scale + high performance distributed systems
- · Experience with programming languages such as NodeJS, Python, Golang or equivalent + experience with database systems (Relational/SQL, NoSQL Databases)
- · BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering field or strong relevant experience
- · Independent with a strong desire to learn new technologies. Highly driven to improve user experience
- · Happy to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment. Everyone in the team has a strong common vision. Team culture and ethics are very important
- · Good interpersonal and problem solving skills + verbal and written English skills
- · Knowledge and experience working with distributed computing tools such as Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Mahout, etc

- · You will be spearheading all efforts related to search accuracy and search experience
