- Required skills:
- Knowledge of the following domain: Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c
- Advanced technical knowledge: RAC, ASM, Dataguard, RMAN, Golden Gate and RDS
- Knowledge of the following languages: PL-SQL, bash, ksh and other (python, perl) would be a plus
- Tuning, diagnostic: Statspack and AWR
- Knowledge of the following clouds: Azure, AWS (OVH would be a plus)
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with databases (production DBA)
- Experience in audit of ‘imperative performance’
- Good writing skills
- Communication: Intermediate / Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
- Install, configure and maintain systems and applications of Oracle databases and tools that accompany it
- Managing incidents and problems daily to minimize downtime on customer activities
- Understand customer demands and propose best solutions
- Troubleshoot system and application issues
- Maintaining documents, procedures and technical guides
- Report to the team leader about activities and projects
- Pre-sales, training, last escalation level
- Complex and crucial infrastructure management (high availability, high volumetric, transactional replicas on different levels…)
- Performance of the production process
- Strong basic knowledge of Linux system
